What would be a good gift for my bf for our 2 years?

I see that cotton is tradition? Wtf? But anyways, my bf is hardcore nerd: magic, rpgs, comics, etc. He also is into sports cars but if I had the money for one it would be for me not him. He loves rock and roll. He's 24. He loves writing and wants be be a filmmaker. Don't imply anything sexual, its quite annoying. I go shopping today.
